This International Finance Manager will be located in Shanghai and report to HKS Corporate Finance Director. This role will be partnering with HKS regional leader and office directors in Shanghai Office, Singapore Office and New Delhi Office to provide guidance and support in financial analysis, financial reporting and budgeting for the region.


  • Work as a finance leader for HKS offices in the Asia Pacific region and a liaison between the region and HKS Corporate Finance team
  • Work with HKS Corporate Finance team and regional leader to set up and optimize finance reporting process and internal control process
  • Coordinate with HKS Corporate Finance/Accounting team and supervise third party service provider to make sure financial statements are closed timely and accurately and comply with local regulations and US GAAP
  • Assist and provide consultation to HKS Corporate Finance team in financial auditing, tax reporting/compliance and transfer pricing
  • Work with regional leader and office directors on project pricing and job cost budgeting to increase the project profitability and overall regional profitability
  • Lead the management reporting and financial analysis to provide decision support to HKS management team, the regional leader and office directors
  • Coordinate and assist the regional leader and office directors in annual financial planning and quarterly forecast
  • Organize and manipulate quantitative data to identify issues/opportunities to enhance financial performance through a strong command of financial results (actual and plan) and leveraging of business modelling and analytical skills
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc projects improving effectiveness and increasing efficiency of the operations and finance function on a global basis


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • At least 5 to 7 years progressive finance/accounting experience
  • Relevant work experience in FP&A and track record of driving favorable business impact
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting processes
  • Solid foundation in financial reporting using ERP-type systems
  • Must possess the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate process improvements and productivity enhancements with the Finance/Accounting team
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence and good judgment
  • Well-organized, self-directed team player.  Remains open to others’ ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things
